This is a small pen drive sized programmer for AVR microcontrollers. You can call it a minimalistic smaller variant of our standard AVR programmer (this product) without the zif socket. This product has been designed for people who doesn't want the zif socket and looking for a small avr programmer.
The programming pin sequence matches that of Atmega 16/Atmega 32 (MOSI-MISO-SCK-RST-VCC-GND). That means you can use it as an ISP (in system programmer) for Atmega16 / Atmega32 while the microcontroller is attached to a breadboard (picture 2), without using any wire.
