This is an updated version of our LCD module. There are some advantages of this module over the previous one. The R/W pin is pulled down. So, for write operation you can just keep it floating. For read operation, just make the pin high. There is also a pin marked as 'BL control' which can be used for controlling backlight with a microcontroller. There are another jumper for selecting backlight. To adjust the brightness,there is a variable pot. All other data and power pins are as same as before. The module comes with four hexa spacers and eight supportive screws so that you can fix it with any board or chassis.
